The memories still flooded in. The memories of power, of freedom, of leadership. It was all still there, as vivid as ever and as deeply rooted into his mind as the day it were planted. His name was Magneto, mutant master of magnetism and self-proclaimed leader of a nation of mutants. And the place that he was now standing in was more than just his home, it was his empire : Genosha. It was once a land were mutants were free and explored it’s beauty to it’s utmost. That was until a sentinel attack almost destroyed the entire land and it’s inhabitants. The hatred of what had happened, the lust for revenge and even the fear was potent within the mutant and his mind was racing with ideas for a new world.
Ever since the Decimation, Magneto had been living undercover here, away from the scourge of humanity and waiting for the moment to strike the Earth. However, the brief rumour of a registrations act from the government couldn’t be stopped from reaching Magneto’s ears. And now his mind was boiling with ideas. But was this registrations act true? Was the government really planning to…..
“No.” Magneto uttered softly to himself, “The government wouldn’t dare.”
He needed confirmation and quickly. He was standing on a cliff top, his cape waving slightly in the wind and his traditional black costume emboldening the Magnetic master throughout the land.

"Greetings, my old foe." came a harsh voice. Doctor Doom stood behind the former Master of Magnetism, his fingers clasped. Two heavily armed soldiers stood on either side of him. "This was once such a harsh nation to infiltrate but with your.... downfall in population it has become SO easy! He had made the decision to come here after his little meeting with Iron man and Wolverine in Latveria. After all, America needed a little more shaking up and Doom suspected that Magneto was just the one to do it.
He strode towards Magneto, brushing his cloak aside. "I know we have not met in some while. And I know we never saw eye to eye, but..." he paused. "Believe me..." he said this lie smoothly. "I never desired to see such a dramatic assault upon mutantkind. And I thought I might tell you some information which might interest you...."

Wicked had seen her chance at the Stark Tower and left, Wolverine wasn't there. She however crashed when she flew over this strange land. Walking down the jungle she jumped up and climbed into a tree. She stayed there looking down at some creatures she had never seen before come by. She felt alone, for the first time in her life. She jumped up and to another tree flipping over.
She knew she was being followed by some creature. She made her way to an open spot, here she had more space to move and manouvre. She looked back as she landed on the ground. A black somekind of catlike creature came from the woods. Wicked hissed as she saw the catlike creature, she hoped it would go away, it didn't. From her boot she pulled a small throwing knife. She looked at the cat and growled, more catlike. The cat jumped at her. Wicked moved aside throwing the knife with deadly precision. It his the cat in the backbone. It fell over. Wicked walked over to the creature and pulled the knife out. She looked up at a cliff.

The Government. The one thing that stood in the way of Magneto’s plans of world domination. If he succeeded in bringing it down then nothing would come in the way of his conquests. Once more, the hatred of mankind stirred within him, amplifying his mutant powers ever so slightly. However, his thoughts were interrupted by a disturbance in the magnetic fields of Genosha.
Greetings, my old foe. Came a cold voice.
It was at this that a sly smile curled onto Magneto’s face. It was him! Doom. Doctor Doom was well known throughout the world for his notorious efforts at defeating the Fantastic Four. In many ways, Magneto found himself to be much like Doom. They both owned a nation and like each other had staggering powers.
“Doom,” Magneto spoke loudly, “Do what do I owe the honour?” It was strange that his defences hadn’t warned Magneto sooner. Obviously the use of his powers were a bit rusty to say the least. As soon as Doom explained about some useful information, Magneto grew suspicious. The reason? His magnetic fields had detected another disturbance below the cliff. Magneto looked down only to find nothing. A spy?
“Why should I trust you? Even now I detect an unseen presence. One of your low paid spies, I presume?” Magneto inquired.

"The Spy is not one of mine." Boomed Doom. "However I will dispose of it for you." He indicated his two soldiers and they headed towards where Magneto had indicated.
"I came here to tell you of the so-called... Super Human Registration Act... and to tell you that the war you have long warned of is nigh, only the sides are not what you thought. Then he turned to see what his soldiers turned up- what filthy manner of spy this was.

The Super Human Registrations Act?! Maybe Magneto was acting too harshly on his new guest. This registrations act was everything that Magneto was curious about. Obviously it had no hindrance to his plans but he still couldn’t help but feel like a farmer overlooking his animals as they fought each other. Such a situation was now. Magneto longed to join the battle to see what took place but he knew that his priorities lay here. On the other hand, there may have been……..
“So…… the rumours are true.” He simply admitted. This time he turned to take his first good look at Doom. He was fascinated that such a person chose to live in armour. Or did he? There was certainly more to Doom than most people perceived.
“And why tell me this?” Magneto asked. He stared at Doom, whilst the soldiers that he had instructed to discover the spy travelled down the cliff in search for the spy. Whoever it was, it was sure to meet an onslaught of Doom’s best soldiers.

Wicked made her way on and up the cliff. She slid through the shadows. Whoever was up there might be able to help her home. She closed her eyes and moved a bit back as she saw two soldiers come down. She looked back and up again. She then jumped up and climbed the cliff like this. "He is at the Tower." She imitated Captain America. "Trust me." She jumped on the trail again and walked on as the soldiers went on down.

"I do not wish to see the present Government in America prevail and I have certain.... foes who I believe might benefit should this Act pass fully. " said Doctor Doom. He spread his metal-gauntleted hands. "Alone, I am powerful. But you... I hear of ways to restore the powers of mutants.... and I believe you might be able to stop this law.
He then paused, as though an idea had just struck him. "Alternatively, we could work together/ Think about it- we are both Kings you and I, you of both this island and the true King of your Race, me of my island. Together our combined strength could make use of this upcoming Civil War and twist it to our own intentions...
He did not expect Magneto to take him up on his offer but he just might.... He had forgotten completely about the spy in his interest at his old foe's reaction.

A flicker of dislike spread across Magneto’s face as Doom proposed his options. Magneto was definitely not going to co-operate with Doom. He was too powerful and deadly besides. And if the government were really planning this then maybe there could be an advantage for Magneto. He stoked his newly grown beard in thought, totally forgetting the spy or his defensive shields even.
“I do not like the idea of working as a lackey with you, Doom. However…..” Magneto trailed off in thought. Maybe if he did co-operate with Doom for now, he might find a way to defeat this government. Like it or not, Magneto needed him.
“You raise a fair point. Maybe it is time for me to leave with you to Latveria and begin my plans.” Magneto needed some planning space that only Latveria could supply. But first there was this, spy.

"You are welcome to return to my homeland and stay as long as you desire. The foolish Reed Richards destroyed much of my machinery after I was sucked into Hell but I have been rebuilding and with some help I believe I may be able to restore your former powers... I would need to borrow your.... His lip twisted beneath his mask. "Dark... Beast for a while of course. I know he is here on Genosha."
He turned. "But now, the spy. He raised both hands wide. "Let us find them before we cement our plans... and deal with them...

Wicked made her way to near the top and sat down. She looked out over the lands. She could hear them talk. A spy? Me, sure. She shook her head and stayed where she was, she had been able to avoid the soldiers who where now down looking for her. She looked up sideways. She stood up and now made herself known "You know, you could just have asked me before just rush into all kind of ideas." She said as she walked up to them, her long black hair laying by her slim body. Her pure brown eyes looking at both men. Her pale skin was more pale because of the sunlight hitting her skin. She was just an 18 year old girl, lost and looking for someone to take her in.

"I don't know who you are but you have exactly ten seconds to tell me why you are here and why I should not kill you." said Doom, raising both his arm blasters. Already more guards were hurrying forwards to get a lock on her.
Doom's plan was proceeding apace and it was vital little spies not get in the way now... this nuisance would need to be eradicated.

Wicked looked at him. "I am here cause my plain crashed while I was on my way away from Stark Tower." She replied and looked down. "I don't know why you shouldn't kill me, and I don't care if you do." She looked up. "I have died to many times to care about another one." Her eyes now meeting his.

Something about this newcomer filled Magneto with curiosity. Did she speak of death? And why face two of the most powerful men in the world all by her own.? Judging from her looks she was about 17, maybe 18? Sparks of interest took form in Magneto’s mind. Doom was right, his powers were near about gone. All he could do was detect disturbances in magnetic fields. The sooner he got his powers back, the better.
“Restrain yourself, Doom.” Magneto began, cautioning him. “We should at least know who our guest is and if possible what they want.”
He waited for the girl to explain herself before taking a cause of action. Magneto had gotten old over the years, normally he would have thrown her off the island without a thought. Instead, he was waiting for her reply, dreaming of the day that his powers would return.

"My name is Wicked." She replied. "As I said, my plain crashed while I was trying to get away." She folded her arms and looked at them both. She looked sideways at the soldiers. Then moved one hand up and snapped her fingers. Five ghosts appeared behind her. She looked back at Doom and Magneto. "And you are?" She asked as the ghosts went to the soldiers and held them under gunpoint.
