Cap whirled to see Johnny Storm, the Human Torch. His eyebrows raised. He knew that Doctor Strange had probably already started the incantation- there was literally no time to waste. Theoretically, the Fantastic Four opposed the Act, but Johnny seemed friendly enough and....
"Johnny!" he said, speaking as quickly as he could. "I don't know why you're hear but..." He was about to tell him that he had to go but then something siezed him and purely on instinct he continued. "....If you oppose the Registration Act then grab on to me!"

"A pleasure, Mr. Madrox." Stephen bowed his head a bit to the mutant. "I'm sorry that we couldn't have met under better circumstances." He turned back to the rest of the group. "Things may get...a little bumpy. I'd suggest you each hold on to one another." With that, the sorcerer closed his eyes and raised his head up towards the sky. What appeared to be gibberish came from his lips, the words barely audible. The ground below the heroes began to glow white, a perfect circle forming underneath the feet. The glow of the circle steadily became brighter and brighter. It was now or never for Johnny Storm to join them.

Johnny reached out a grabbed the Captain's arm. He glanced toward the circle under his feet and then at Dr. Strange. The only time he really heard much about him was from Reed, and after the recent events, he wasn't sure if Reed's opinion was the best one.
"Umm...Doc...whenever you wanna make these go away, well that'd be just great," Johnny said with an eyebrow raised.
"I'm in...Reed isn't, which means Ben isn't either. I think I can work on Sue, though," Johnny said to the Captain.

When the light had finally grown bright enough to completely blind the group, it happened. Suddenly the light faded quickly away, allowing their vision to return to normal. The familiar surroundings of Manhattan were gone. Now there were stars for as far as the eye could see.
"Doctor Strange. You summon us together. State your business."
From the stars, four figures emerged. Two seemed to be made of the stars themselves, complete with suns, black holes, and miniature planets on their humanoid forms. The third person was tall and golden, a cloth covering his head, which had three seperate faces on three sides of it. Finally, the fourth person appeared as a rather attractive female, covered in a purple robe.
The group, however, would not see this. Just as the figures began to emerge, the light engulfed them once more. In the white nothingness, words could be heard.
"Clinton Barton's death wasn't planned. You know this, Death. The machinations of the mutant known as Wanda Maximoff was unforeseen. It was unforeseen by any of you. You, the cosmic beings who know all. And that is why I'm appealing Clint Barton's death."
The cosmic forces remained silent, instead looking at one another.
"It is decided."
Without saying another word , the cosmic figures disappeared. The light faded away once more, again revealing Manhattan. Stephen turned to look to see if Clint was still there.

When Clint could final see after the light had faded, he could smell, hear, and even breath Manhattan. He had been pardon of death. With a look at his good friend Captain all the way around the group his came to rest on Doctor strange. "I want to thank you. As much as I hate to admit it, without you I would be dead now or soon. I owe you Doctor."

Johnny looked around in a circle to find everyone back where they were just minutes ago. After Galactus, that was the closest thing to a god he's ever seen.
"Well, now that we're done with all the sorcery crap...what do we do?"

"Now?" asked Cap. He turned, looking slowly around at the others, his mind whirling. "We'll go to Home Base." he smiled at Strange. "We can meet with Daredevil, talk a little. Short-term, I guess we're looking at still being super-heroes. Long term..." He paused. "Long term we stand for freedom. Any way we can." He turned to Johnny. "And Johnny... thank you. I know what this means for you." He was glad to have the hot-head on his side.
And as the group rematerialised and Cap prepared to lead them to Home Base, he smiled to himself. Clint was alive!
And now his Resistance numbered Six.

Stephen turned the Captain's smile. "This is but one victory on a road of many." He pointed to a nearby bank sign, which displayed the time: 12:04 AM. "Gentlemen. We're now criminals." Grabbing the front of his coat, he pulled it tighter around him, as if for protection. "I'd suggest we get off the streets."

Johnny nodded.
"Sounds like a good idea to me."
He walked up to keep pace with the rest of the group.
"Oh, I'm gonna look forward to watching FOX's reaction on this. Let's go before things turn ugly."
