History/Background:
Abandoned as a child by his mother (Mystique) as a small child, he was taken in by a gypsie named Margali Szardos. He was raised in the circus and travelled all over Europe in the guise of "The Amazing Nightcrawler". His circus performances helped fine tune his skills. His foster brother Stefan, who was also a orphan raised with him, grew up to be jealous and enraged with Kurt. Stefan slowly suffered from bouts of schizoprhenia, one day killing a small child and placing the blame on Kurt. A angry mob soon came after poor Kurt Wagner, so he had to flee the only home he knew. Wandering the streets of Brussels, homeless and hungry, he was befriended by Charles Xavier. Charles offered Kurt a place in New York City, with the X-men, which he agreed.
Nightcrawler was a valued member, saving the team from certain death on more than one occasion. He found a close friendship in Wolverine, and the two often went on adventures in Canada. During one mission, both Kurt and Shadowcat Kitty Pride were both seriously injured. This left them out of an mission in Dallas, were all the X-men were presumed dead. They were really saved by Roma and transported to Australia, but Kurt and Kitty, feeling sorrow and pain, took time to to mourn the UK, where they teamed up with Captain Britain. Seeing how well they worked together, they formed the team Excalibur, which Nightcrawler was the leader of.
When Excalibur disbanded, Kurt and Kitty rejoined the X-men. Kurt briefly took time off to become a priest, but his duties has an X-man were more important. Nightcrawler currently serves as a deputy leader of the X-men.

Sample Post: Nightcrawler hastily crept up the side of the Baxter Building, melded with the darkness of the night. As he peeked through a small window, he saw a rather large security bot scurrying down the hall, making its rounds. It was about 5 feet tall, and it had two appendages that looked like something Doc Ock would have, rolling on tank-like treads. Wagner clenched his fist tight, and closed his eyes. "Gott Hilfe mich...." Kurt thought to himself. *BAMF* Kurt teleported into the building in a cloud of purple and black smoke. Before the security bot could turn around, Kurt leaped 10 feet into the air, nearly grazing the roof somersaulting, and landed cleanly on top of the bots 'head'. He gripped the bot's head with both hands *BAMF* and teleported 6 feet away down the hall away from the bot, with it's 'head' in tow. The headless bot was waving its arms and sparks were flying out of the top of it. Nightcrawler threw its head at the decapitated machine, sending it crashing into the end of the hallway. Suddenly, an eardrum piercing alarm went off, and within seconds, 4 heavily armed SHIELD soldier rushed into the hallway, Two kneeled to their knees, while the other two stood behind them, all with their automatic rifles drawn. "Halt!" screamed one of the soldiers. "Scheiße!'' Kurt muttered to himself......
