None. However Kate is trained above Olympic level in fencing, archery and several forms of martial arts.
History/Background:
Kate Bishop was born to privilage, a wealthy family that made its fortune in the garment business before expanding. She has been given every oppertunity to better herself, and instead of getting involved with after-school activities, she threw herself into learning martial arts, archery and fencing. It was an interest her parents encouraged, thinking that if she knew some self-defence she would be safe from kidnapping threats. However she was beginning to grow bored with her life, until she was attending a wedding which turned into a hostage situation.
The Young Avengers attempted to use hostage situation to make their mark as the newest superteam on the block. However had it not been for Kate Bishop's intervention their first mission would have ended tragically. Bishop was then taken to the hospital by her father though she had no injuries. There she was met by Cassandra Lang, the daughter of Scott Lang the last Ant-Man, who was looking for the Young Avengers.
The pair set off for the destroyed Stark Mansion, the former home of the Avengers, where they met the Young Avengers and then Captain America, Iron Man and Jessica Jones. Though Captain America and Iron Man forbid the Young Avengers from continuing to be active, especially after battle with Kang the Conquerer, it was Kate Bishop who kept the team going by designing new uniforms for them and providing them with a base of operations in an old wharehouse of Bishop Publishing one of her family companies.
Though Patriot is the official leader of the team, Bishop's determination has lead her to take command at times when Patriot was incapable of leading the team.
Sample Post:
The arrow went from the quiver to the bow in one swift motion, and as Kate Bishop pulled her right arm back preparing to launch the arrow the took aim. She hesitated a moment and then released, the arrow streaking from her position upward towards Iron Man. It felt wrong somehow to be fighting these people who she'd idolized. She was fighting Mrs. Marvel for Godsakes, who didn't love Mrs. Marvel?
She did not pause to see if the arrow reached its target or if Iron Man used some kind of shield or ray to stop it. Instead she was already moving, she couldn't win this fight on her own and the only chance she had was to get away and fight another day with more help. It was a good thing she didn't know the location of the resistance's base yet. If she was captured she was sure SHIELD had telepaths or something. Maybe X-Men would be used to pick her brain, but since she didn't know anything there was no harm she could do.
Her goal was to get out of the open. Both Iron Man and Mrs. Marvel could fly, and thus had the high ground. Somewhere cramped with low cellings suited her better, at least for this fight. Which meant she was going into the sewers. She pried open a manhole and lept down, landing with a splash in about three feet of dirty water. This was a long way from her upper Manhatten apartment with her own butler. She moved quickly hoping the other two wouldn't follow her down there.
