Mutation/Powers: Johnny can manipulate fire, and can shoot fireballs, cover his body in fire, fly, absorb heat, and can project a super-nova like flame at 100 degrees F, at a cost of exhausting his powers for a period of time. Johnny, at normal levels, can be in flame form around 3/4 of a day. He is also a skilled automotive mechanic and racer.
History/Background: Jonathan Lowell Spencer Storm was born to Mary and Franklin Storm. He also had an older sister Sue Storm. While growing up in Glenville, New York, his mother was killed in a car wreck, while Johnny was still young. Franklin was a well-known doctor, and also a well-known criminal. Due to these ties, the demon Zarathos, or the Ghost Rider, wished to use Johnny as a host. Johhny was helped by Max Parrish, an uncle of Johnny's crush, to escape the demon.
When Johnny's sister joined her ex-boyfriend Reed Richards, a particularly brilliant scientist, on a journey to space, Johnny joined as the crew's pilot. During the flight, a wave of cosmic radiation passed through the plane, changing the crew's live forever. Reed became expandable, able to strech his body in extreme lengths. Ben Grimm grew into a rock-solid, super strong beast. Sue was able to make herself invisible at will, and able to make forcefields, while Johnny could control fire at will. Johnny adopted the name Human Torch, after the past hero. The four formed a group that would later be known as the Fantastic Four. Regretfully, a fifth member was on the flight. Hailing from Latveria, Victor Von Doom was given superhuman strength and power of electricity. Rather then fight for good like his friends, he became their worst enemy.
After an alien named Zius found the Four, looking to make Sue nullify a anti-Galactus, a man bent on destroying Earth, shield, Reed, who is now married with Sue, gave Johnny Sue's powers in order to throw off Zius. Galactus found Johnny, seeking to have him replace the Silver Surfer as his new herald. Johnny was able to revert Galactus back to human form, saving his family and most the planet. Reed later swapped Sue and Johnny's powers back.

A monitor beeps as the pulse of a patient is closely watched. The door of the room opens and a nurse walks in with a thermometer. She sits on the edge of the bed and chuckles.
"Of all my patients, you're the nicest by far."
She takes the plastic tip off the end, and sticks it in the comatose man's mouth. She took a look at the temperature to find the reading normal. She goes to take it out but pauses when she sees the pulse begin to raise unnormally. She looks down to see the temp raise to. She goes to grab another nurse when she saw a flash of red in the corner of her eye. She turned to see the man sitting with his hand on fire. She smirked.
"Umm...Mr. Storm...you're awake."
"It...hrrrmm...appears I am...Listen...you need to...keep..." Johnny said.
"You're secrets safe with me, Torch. Get some rest. Oh, and put that out," the nurse said pointing to the burning sheets.
Johnny winced as the flame from the sheets went into his palms. He leaned further down in the bed and regained his long lost stength.
