The Avengers: Movies

[Captain America]

So, it seems we are getting a "The Mighty Thor" movie, a "Captain America" movie () and an "Iron Man" movie, as well as quite possibly an "Avengers" movie. The latter looked unlikel;y but with Marvel now owning all their own movie rights it's suddenly a HUGE possibility!

Here's what we know:

The Mighty Thor:

-The Movie will take place in the "world of myth and legend"

-The movie will definitely include the idea of "A God coming to understand man" from the comics

-It is scripted by Mark Protosevich


Captain America:

-It will be out in 2009

-David Self is adapting it

-Marvel will be keeping the aspect of him being frozen until the modern era.

-He is forced to look at America today and realise that it isn't what it's cracked up to be.


Iron Man:

-It is being developed by Jon Favreau

-He intends to use a lot of CGI and go behind the camera next year

-It and Hulk 2 are Marvel's big priorities to get out first.


Note: An "Ant-Man" movie is also in the works, and an "Avengers" movie is a great likelihood. Personally I think that would ROCK sooooooo much. I badly wanna see "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" on the big screen
