A new threat has emerged to threaten the very fabric of the Marvel Universe. A Super powerful entity, known only as "Onslaught". Already powerful villains are declaring their allegiance to him, former B-class evildoers are suddenly becoming major threats? and a key member of the X-Men plots to betray them. No one team can stop this new threat.
The X-Men!

The Avengers!
It will take all the combined might of all of the Earth's heroes if Onslaught is to be stopped before he can achieve his insidious goal, and even then, can they really destroy a villain who is energy itself?... ?
