It's been a year after the events of Alcatraz. The X-Men have mourned appopriately for the losses of Professor Xavier, Jean Grey, and Scott Summers. Hell, some are still mourning. The Brotherhood, after the administration of the cure to their leader, disbanded for a while, which left the world peaceful...for a while. It seemed as if the cure had worked... Seemed. As it turned out, the cure had to be administered three times over a year long period to remain effective. But, with the destruction of Worthington Labs and the release of Leech from the labs, the cure eventually became sterile. Good news for the Brotherhood, who now had their leader back. Bad news for the rest of the world. Magneto gathered his forces, which now were more than he had before, and built his very own complex, rivaling that of Xavier's itself. But, it seems as if Magneto has competition. With the emergence of a new threat, a Class 5 mutant calling him self Apocalypse, with power rivaling or perhaps even surpassing those of the late Phoenix. The world is on a precarious edge. Will you shift the balance between good and evil? Or will the world perish at The Rise of Apocalypse. xmenroa.proboards59.com
