[Wiccan]

OCC: Ok, setting up the young avengers in this mess.

Billy wasn't intending to go there. It seems that his body knows that path instinctively. He stands there for a minute looking at the mansion.

Was it that long ago that he met her there?
"Excuse me... are you all right?"
No, there is nobody to ask him that now. He is alone and the mansion is a ruin. The avengers now live in the Stark Tower. He stares at the ruins and misses the old days so much.

He misses her. He wishes he could see her again. He wants to ask so much. He wants to talk to someone who cares about him the way she did.

He wants to ask if she is really his mother. He knows it's true, he just knows. But the Scarlet Witch is nowhere to be found. Nobody seemed happy when he asked about her in the tower. Which seemed like reason enough for him and his team not to tell them what they just found out.

Tommy and Billy. Twin children of the Scarlet Witch. It has to be true. Nothing else can explain all of this.

He sits exactly where he was when he met her.

"Why aren't you here? I need to see you so much..."

"Well. I am here."

Teddy was standing there. Billy smiled at him.

"Teddy. I'm sorry, i thought I was alone"
"Well, you seemed like you might be a little too lonely."

Teddy sits by his side. There is no one that could tell both boys are powerful members of the Young Avengers. They just sit in silence for a moment and then Billy speaks.

"Have you gone home?"
"No. There is nothing for me there anymore"
"I know..."
"You should go to yours, and not spend your nights in such a ruined old house."
"You knew?"
"Please. I'm your boyfriend, right? C'mon billy, you know your parents are OK with you. And they are probably worried, with all that's happening. You should go home."
"I can't. It's too dangerous for them to have me around. And I'm not even sure who my parents really are now, am I?"
"Again with the Scarlet Witch story, Billy?"
"c'mon, it makes sense! I have a brother who looks exactly the same as me and I never heard of him before! and we both have powers?"
"Not exactly the same. you far better looking. And I'm not saying it doesn't make sense, billy. But you seem to have jumped into this too fast."
"I loved the Scarlet Witch"
"Hell if I don't know that. You wouldn't speak of another thing for the first days in the team, don't you remember? But what difference does it makes? It was your mom who raised you. Your brothers are the ones you grew up with. suddenly, they are not important anymore?"
"I don't mean it that way"
"But it sure looks like you are. You have been avoiding your parents ever since that!"
"Ever since Stamford, Teddy. This just adds to the situation."
"To hell with Stamford. We had nothing to do with that!"
"Teddy, the week before that someone blew my damn front door. Your mother was killed in front of my parents and aliens tried to abduct you."
"Exactly. that all happened to me! And I'm not the one bitching about it!"
"Perhaps you should be."

The boys stare at each other. There has been so much happening, and it's all being too hard on them. It's not fair that this should bring them apart. They are trying to hold together, all of them. The team left the avengers tower once Captain America went underground. It became fairly obvious that they could no longer see the tower as safe house, which was a big problem for Teddy and Thomas since both of them had no families to return to. The Registration Law has passed and seems quite obvious that the team isn't willing to register. All but Wiccan agree on that.

"Look, me, Thomas and Cassie, we found a place to stay. You should stay there with us, not in the mansion. And I mean that for security reasons. You know this is the first place they will look for us, we all have a history with this ruins here, don't we?"
"That is true"
Teddy gives a long look at him.
"What is wrong with you, Billy? You can't give up that easily."
"I'm not giving up"
"That's definitely not what seems."
"I'm not, OK? I'm with you guys."
"Then be with us. This is the place where we're staying."
"I'll go there."
"Please do, Billy"
"I will."

Teddy gets up

"I love you, you know."
"I know. I never doubt it."
"I need you to stay with me"
"I am"
"it has been hell for all of us, Billy. Together, we can get thru this"

Wiccan stares at his boyfriend but his doubts must be still be very clear in his eyes. Teddy loves him, yeah. But this law is ripping him apart from the team, and that means he is getting far from Teddy too. They kiss but briefly and Teddy leaves.

Wiccan is alone again. He stands up and walks toward the gate of the Avenger's mansion. The abandoned ruins empty and dusty. No, there will be no one coming to make it all right again. He can't help but feel like they are making the wrong choice, any how. Resisting the law won't be doing any one any good, and he can see disaster incoming.

Noise around brings Wiccan back from his thoughts and he notices that there is a situation going on in the park, near the mansion.

Four cops are trying to deal with Shocker.
"Oh my, have we not already arrested him once?"
Billy watches the situation as he is in his civil identity, he chooses not to intervene yet.

The shocker shots air blasts against the cops who are sent against nearby trees. He starts running and will clearly escape. Wiccan dresses what he can of the uniform (basically, the red cape and his short of 'helmet' stuff) and casts a spell to fly towards Shocker.

"now, have we not arrest you this month already?"
"Damn kids again?"
"Glad you remember me. Tell me, will you surrender now or after I beat you up?"

The answer comes in the form of a air blast right into his stomach. Wiccan falls to his knees breathless.

"You know something, kiddo? With this new law, you lock me up, and one week from now, guess who is gonna be my next cell mate?"

the shocker then hits Wiccans face with his closed hands. Wiccan goes to the ground.

"Don't you think we will have great fun? You should get used with gettin' beaten up, kiddo, "

"iwantsomelightingiwantsomelightingiwantsomelighting"

"What is that kiddo?"

"I WANT SOME LIGHTING!"

And obeying to his words, Great lighting bolts come out of Wiccans hands throwing Shocker against a few trees. It grants Wiccan time to get himself up and preparing for attack.

The shocker got himself up and ready and they face each other.

OCC: Ok, anyone who wants to team up is welcome, this is what i put the fighting for anyway.

[Captain America]

Captain America gritted his teeth as he saw the two boys run towards the Shocker. He hesitated for a moment. I should not be here... I should not be here... Ever since he had gone underground, Cap had moved about from place to place more rapidly than he had in sixty years.

He had been busy trying to recruit for his new Resistance group, and his current aim was simple; take down super villaiins and show SHIELD that he would continue to serve the American people, legal or not. "The cops will never take him down..." he muttered to himself. He shot a glance over his shoulder.

So Daredevil's tip had been right. The Shocker was here. And Cap had been sitting here for minutes trying to work out how exactly to take him down without having to fight policemen as well when these two kids got involved. He knew them at once- members of the so-called 'Young Avengers.' The New Avengers had had trouble with them a while back and Cap certainly didn't approve of them.

But he didn't want them dead either. It occured to him that maybe these kids wouldn't want to register. And if that were the case... no! He couldn't think that way! They were just kids, after all. They were just.... kids......

With a sigh, Cap leapt out from where he had been hiding and hurled his familiar shield straight at the Shocker. One day, this kind of stuff is going to kill me... he thought ironically to himself. "Hey, Shocker!" he shouted to the super-villain. "Get the Heck away from those kids!"

[Wiccan]

OCC: Actually, just Wiccan went to the fight. Although the hulkling was expected to be near and show up. Well, will go on with the hulkling in scene...

Wiccan looks at cap who just arrieved and notices Hulkling has also got ready to fight. It's good to know he won't be fighting alone.

The shocker however seems to realise that there is little chance for him now, and starts a desperate move.

He shots two full force air blasts against Wiccan and with that throws him against captain, expecting to open room to escape.

[Captain America]

OOC: Sorry, my bad.

Cap grunted as the boy flew against him. He was surprised, but unfortunately for his foe, the Shocker wasn't as alert as he might have believed. Even as he turned to run.... Cap's shield flew back towards his hand, catching Shocker and felling him. "Idiot." pronounced Cap, shaking his head. He returned his attention to the current situation.

"You alright?" he asked Wiccan, even as he caught the Shield. He raised it in front of himself, motioning at the boy to get behind him as he advanced towards the Shocker before he could rise. He looked up to see the other boy was closing in from the other side, and then he nodded at Wiccan to be ready.

He couldn't help but think it was ironic- he was a fugitive from the law and he didn't approve of these kids and still he instantly jumped into the role of battle commander. He looked up and locked eyes with one of the policemen. They hesitated for a moment... and then stepped back.

"Kid.... Wiccan..." said Cap. "Think you can rustle up something to put this guy unconscious?" Shocker might have been taken out, but Cap wasn't sure and he did NOT want to take chances. He would put this guy away, talk to the kids, and then go. He couldn't hang around for long. He didn't like being near the old Mansion anyway- too many memories.

[Wiccan]

Being around cap was akward. He had strong position against the Young Avengers, but he also had gave them great help with the skrull-kree incident. And he was far better than patriot on giving orders and pulling a team together, obviously.

"I think can see to it"

wiccan tries to concentrate and starts his spell.

"iwanthimtobeunconsciousiwanthimtobeunconsciousiwanthimtobeunconscious" He starts. And a small explosion of light takes place right in front Shocker's face, a bit unexpected, but completly efficient. The shocker is down for good, sleeping deep.

Both boys turn to captain america, but there is little time to talk...
"The cops are comming. What we do?"
"We can't let them take cap!"
The boys look at captain, waiting for his moves

[Captain America]

Cap froze for just a second. "I'll be alright, boys." he said after the moment. "You two.... tell your team-mates..." He tried to form words, aware of the police dragging Shocker away and one of them moving towards him. "Tell your team-mates.... you always have a choice." he was speaking quickly. "ALWAYS! If you don't want to register, if you don't think it's right.... I'll find you. I'll help you."

He was aware of exactly what he was saying. He was offering help to this group -he had helped them before of course, but then the world was on the line. This time, he was helping them save only themselves. "There's ALWAYS a choice." He nodded, backing away. "Goodbye Wiccan... Hulkling."

And with that, he turned and sprinted away, super-soldier speed pumping his leg muscles. He cast a single glance over his shoulder.... and saw the policemen were studying their feet or looking away. Cap smiled to himself. There was still hope. For himself, for his group...

And maybe for the Young Avengers as well.

[Wiccan]

The boys flew away from the scene as well.

They have to met the team. Things are changing fast, and the law is right about our heads. Wiccan still has doubts, but certainly having fought side by side with Captain America have changed the way he sees things.

It's Captain America. If he says fighting registration is right, we stop and listen. Maybe there is a point to resisting.

Still, Wiccan remembers all that happened to them just recently. Although there is a point to all that cap's said... This is too big, this is a hard choice. His team did their choice, but the question remais... What side will Wiccan truly chose?

[Kate Bishop]

As Kate Bishop watched Wiccan and Hulking return to the Young Avengers' headquarters, currently still the closed out factor that she had secured from Bishop Publishing, she shook her head. It was dangerous and stupid to be going right now. Didn't they know that law had passed, and now everyone in a costume without the right paper work would be in danger of being taken in.

Not that she was one to talk. She had been driving a full two years before turning sixteen and three before she had gotten her driver's registration all sorted. Still this was different. Had she got caught driving under-age she'd have gotten a slap on the wrist and maybe if her parents were going through one of their phases when they actually tried to be parents they'd have taken away her iPod or grounded her for the weekend. If they were caught now in costume, well this was stuff even her family's money wouldn't be able to buy her out of.

Mostly though she was jealous that they were getting to have fun while she had been back at the base. So when she stood there, hand on her hips tapping her foot like a frustrated mother, she truely was not that mad. "What the hell were you two doing? Don't you know it's open season on capes?"

[Wiccan]

Both boys look a bit like kids got caught with their hands in the cookies jar facing Kate. She might be the one with no powers, but she can be impressive her own ways.

"Well, hi Kate."
"Hey"

They look at her a for a second and then both try to narrate all the late events quite in a hurry and making it all just confusing blabbing that was something quite like that:

"You can't guess what happened!We fought by There was the shocker andCaptain America just didAnd he said there is always a choice and..."

[Kate Bishop]

Kate shook her head, "Boys, did you get into the sugar cereal again? One of you talk at once, and try to make some sense. What's going on? You fought Captain America?"

This was confussing, what were they talking about.

[Wiccan]

"I wasn't out on costumes! I was just, you know, thinking. But then The Shocker showed up. Cops were on him but they were getting nowhere So I had to help, i mean, that's what we are in for, right?"

"yeah, i was on my way back here, but then I saw the mess billy got himself into and run back to help... And then Cap shows up!"

"You know cap wasn't way to happy about us, but he helped us with the shocker. Like when we had the kree-skrull fight."

The boys are getting calmer now, less adrenaline and the heat of battle getting cooler...

"yeah but i think he changed his mind about us. He said he would help us with this law stuff. Said there is always a choice, we don't have to reg. I mean. wow. Bet we gave him a good impression in this fight!"

"It was.. It makes me think about all this you know..."

Wiccans hesitation on taking the anti reg side shows again...

OCC: I know we can be in two places at once, but would be nice if we make our ways from here to the punisher battle, neh?
