Young Avengers Headquarters

[Wiccan]

*OCC: This thread is consequence of actions taken in Punisher vs Sidekicks thread. Characters that came from there to here are (supposed to be) Kate Bishop, Patriot, Wiccan, Molly Hayes and Victor Mancha.*

Wiccan's teleport lights out and everyone finds themselves in a huge warehouse that can be easily guessed that serves the Young Avengers as headquarters. This is probably very confusing for those not in the team, so wiccan turns his attention to them...

"sorry folks. If i warned you about the spell, they could have found a way to stop me. And i wasn't sure if they would just let us go even with spidey on our side... This is a safe place, however."

[Molly Hayes]

Molly glanced around, then turned her gaze back on Wiccan. "In these time, noplace is safe. I'll take your word that for now, we can have shelter here."

She looked at the others. "So, what now?"

[Victor Mancha/ Zapper]

Victor looked around "Well i was thinking we better clear up what side are we on and also are we acting as one group or as Runaways and Young Avengers?" Victor looked around the warehouse he didn't really know what to think about it all his computer brain was telling him pro and his human side was telling him anti, so much simpler if you had one side to you.

[Wiccan]

Wiccan starts to look around searching for the 3 other members of his team. But still talking to their 'guests'.

"Well, i'd say you should stay here a bit, you know. Let them get busy chasing that psycho so that they won't be looking for you meanwhile. By the ways... I'm Wiccan. you can call me Billy. Those are erm... Hawkingbird? And the other one is the Patriot. The missing ones are Hulkling, Stature and my brother... What about you guys? "

[Wiccan]

"you guys a team? Wait... runaways... From Los Angeles, isn't it? cool."

Wiccan takes a deep breath before entering the registration issue...

"Well, that registration thing is a bit of an issue around here actually..."

[Molly Hayes]

Molly nodded, then grinned. "Cool. Wiccan eh? Well, its better than Bruiser..."

She shrugged, then admitted her weakness in this part. "I don't know what to think about the SHRA... I just want this to end, and mutants like the Punisher have to be stopped, but if this passes, all of our privacy, our rights..."

The girl gave another half shrug. They all knew what she ment.

[Wiccan]

"I think that freak is a regular human being, really. But yeah, I can see your point... "

Wiccan sighs and looks at his teamates.

"i know you guys disagree, but there is a point into registration. I mean, what if that thing with the punisher there had become like Stamford? That psycho could have made things hard for us..."

[hulkling]

Teddy enters the warehouse and watches as Billy is talking.

"You all still talking of that? C'mon billy, you know it isn't that easy. Registration won't stop Stamford-like events! All it will do is make us their soldiers. We have talked of this a dozen times already, Billy." Then he notices Molly and Victor. "Hey guys, who are our guest?"

[Molly Hayes]

Molly curiously watched the new arrival, then spoke.

"I'm Molly, and that's Victor. Your friend here teleported us away from a disaster waiting to happen, I guess I should have thanked him, instead of interrogating him."

[hulkling]

Teddy walks closer to Billy and puts one arm around his shoulder.

"yeah, i guess you should. But billy here is a lovely guy and he will forgive you that. Say, you told you were in "a disaster waiting to happen' was that it? Where have you guys been and why you didn't took me with you?"

[Molly Hayes]

"We had a run in with the Punisher... and then the whole of the SHEILD team showed up, then we dashed."

Molly sat down onto the wooden floor and crossed her legs, putting her chin in her hands.

"But this dude here thinks we should hide it out a bit here..."

[Wiccan]

Wiccan turned on the TV they had in the warehouse while the others were talking. Although it is nice to see people agreeing with him for once (he already liked these new kids) he knew time was running thin for them to take their stand, and they would probably be talking about the law in the telly.

Besides, the news shows would probably be saying something about the Punisher and that was something he wanted to know just as well.

And right he was. After a brief cover on the run after the punisher, being lead by Spider-Man and some shield soldiers, they got the news on the law. It's official then, from now on.

"Oh boy. We better come to an agreement about this soon, guys."

[Echo]

Molly started at the TV for a moment, listening to the report on the new law.

"Crap. I don't know what to believe anymore..."

She glanced over at Wiccan. "What do you make of all this?"

((oops, that was molly, i'm too lazy to switch accounts... ;D)

[Wiccan]

"It is a hard topic. You all were there in the punisher thing... All that could have gone very bad. With shield, those things would be dealt in better ways... Although, Spider Woman wanting to arrest us... Well, they probably would want us out of the costumes, i mean, we are just kids. We have been there, the Avengers have been saying this to us since, i dunno, ever. Only person that really supports our decision so far was Jessica Jones..."

Wiccan sighs. It is becomming harder. He had been expecting that the registration would take those problemas away but having the Shield pointing guns at them.. that was really weird.

[Molly Hayes]

She shook her head.

"It could go both ways... If anything gets out of hand, well, more than it is already, the scales will tip too far, and everything will spill over, worse than if the act had never been passed."

Molly thought about the past events that had landed them here, and for all mutants.
