I'm Boaz Eschelmen, welcome to another edition of RVN World News. In the aftermath of the Stamford Tragedy and which resulted in the deaths of eight hundred and seventy nine children and fourteen adults and left more than two hundred others in hospital, and the forthcoming Registration Act which is ever closer to being made law, Captain America has given the following Statement: The Avengers and I would like to offer our most sincere and heartfelt apologies to the relatives of those involved in the Riverbank disaster at Stamford. We are truly sorry that people claiming to be super-heroes perpetrated this heinous act. Because of this and the forthcoming Registration Act, we have decided to invite all super-heroes to join us in a conference in Stark Tower tomorrow. That is ALL super-heroes, from the Thunderbirds to the Fantastic Four, so that we can discuss what to do in this new crisis. RVN will of course be bringing you footage from outside this meeting and brief you on what conclusion these super-humans decide upon.
