Johnny entered the Baxter Building for the first time since he became a part of the rebellion. Strangely enough the place that was home to him hours before, no longer seemed that way.
Welcome back, Johnny. Gotta get to Sue...She's the only help I can get right now.
Johnny tiptoed down the hallway so not to disturb Reed, and mainly Ben, now his enemies. He walked his way to Sue's room and opened the door. He saw her sitting on the bed and closed the door.
"Sue, we need to talk elsewhere. Now."

"Johnyy! don't you ever knock? dot say your in more trouble? what is it and no I am not lending you any more money" she said almost a forced whisper so not to shout a little.
Her arms raised up a little as he walked into her room without knocking and closed the door. privacy? doesn't a girl ever get no privacy? she asked herself and sighed shaking her head and staring at Johnny with her usually frustrated look when he anoyed her.
SHe was already in a partial mood from Reed. all the guy ever did was work, work and work, that was all he ever did and treated her like a spare part. So she was going to take it out on Johnny, well some of it she would, the other would be going off and planning a little fun time away form the Baxter household.

Johnny shook his head at her and lifted a finger to his mouth to tell her to be a little more quiet.
"Do you want to wake Ben up? What do you think he'd do if he saw me here?" Johnny asked almost madly.
He saw Sue's face almost shocked.
"It's okay. We need to talk...about the Act, or Law I should say. Where do you stand?"

"Don't shh me and he would throw you through the wall Johnny, alright" she said whispering and scowling at him lightly then just wearing her usual frown.
She crossed her arms tightly remaining seated on the corner of her bed. The Act, law, oh not this again. I don't know which side. I am loyal to Reed and he is for it as is Ben..But Johnny is my borther...Oh this is like picking between them harsh
"I am married to Reed and you know him....but" she stopped herself.

"But...You know this thing is as ridiculous as the Captain and I do. Don't let Reed's blindness cloud you as well. I need to leave, the Captain's sending me out to fetch someone else...Are you with me?"
Johnny reached his hand to the doorknob as he got ready to leave, but kept his eyes on Sue.
"Ever since we were kids, we always stayed together. I'd like to keep it that way."

She paused, deep in thought about what she could do, either way it risked loosing someone, though with Reed he probably wouldn't even know she was gone and Ben, well he stuck to Reed like glue, but her brother. If he gets into trouble no one will look out for him, and he is right. If everyone is forced into registering then theyr are more vulnerable to harrassment and to vilians knowing hwo they are. We know about that more than anyone. We are publically known to everyone like the walking yellowpages. The FF are here everyone get them!. It would be a dissaster. I have me own mind I can do what I like and Reed will have to deal with it.
Her mind racing with thoughts as she then stood up. "I just don't know, I can't" she said and walked over to her desk taking in her hand a photo of her and Reed before he got so distant again, when they were happy. She put it face down on the table and turned to her brother.
"To hell with it, besides who else will watch your back?" she said a weak smile and a nod in agreement.

Johnny smiled and did a fist pump. He quickly contained himself as he peeked out the door.
"Glad to have you on our side. And just to let you know, you're now a public enemy so you may wanna pack your FF suit and put on some different clothes once we get out."
He stepped out but stepped back in with a small smile.
"Almost forgot. We're gonna be picking up an old friend. I'll give you two hints. He's a former herald to Galactus and he loves to surf," Johnny said as he walked out.

Sue shook her head, when wasn't she used to being public enemy, she been stalked, chased, attacked by humans and then kidnapped proposed to by alien races. Had her Ex Dr Doom try to kill her faily, this she was trainged for you could say.
Packing, wont take long I havent much stuff here now and I dont know If saying good bye to the others here would help. I give Reed two weeks before he notices I am even gone she thought.
She didn't ned much more decription than that, Silver Surfer. It had to be the Silver Surfer as he was known.

A large figure then stands over Johny Storm. Sue looks up at the monster in disappointment.
"So that's it Susie. You're ready to up and leave Reed and me." Benjamin Grimm had never really had alot of people in his life-at least not the kind you grow close to and learn to love even for all there faults. That's why the four on all there chests meant so much to him. And that's why his ever-lovin blue eyes now hold a solid sterile bule within them.
"You ready to throw away everything we've been through cause the people we're supposed to protect want us to show a little responsibility." Thing turns his attention to Johny. "And you flame brains-you know forget it. I'd figure you'd be against this. It means you might be allowed to just go and do whateva the hell ya want.'
Thing sees the surprise and announce in Torch's eyes. "That's right hot shot. this means you can't just go doin all the dumb **** you do to impress the ladies."
Thing turns his attention back to Sue. "Now Sue. I hope this isn't cause Reed's a little preoccupied right now. You gotta understand, this is his chance to really make this world better. Not just save it from one invasion after another-but to really make a difference. We all do."
Benjamin Grimm stands staring at the brother and sister. His bloodline doens't touch any of the fantastic four. But this is the only family he has ever known. But they're wrong. He feels that strongly in his heart-they're wrong.

Johnny shook his head as he planted himself firmly in front of Ben. He surely doesn't want to fight Ben, but would do what's necessary.
"Listen, Ben. There's no way you can think this is right. Don't be so blind in your devotion to Reed. You're not his slave. Now either join us."
He saw Ben not budge. Johnny's eyes flashed red as his fists began flaming and the heat gave off his body.
"Or move."

Sue saw that look from Johnny and Ben, a fight could emerge at any time as it usually did. SHe stepped forward a small forecfield in the palm of her hand as she raised them to the pair of them..
"Not here! and no Ben it isn't just that, we have been stalked, harrassed, kidnapped, and god-know-what. This would not have happened If people didn't know who we were. They know our real names, where we live and who we are to each other, this is used against us all the time. We are the unlucky ones in that respect, but there are those who have their identities secret, it protects them, keeps their family safe. They know that is they go fight crime like we do that their family will still be there when they return. It is like giving the villians, aliens and regular jack asses a yellow pages to hunt everyone down and do more harm than good. If people want to show themselves they do, if not it shouldn't be forced" she said lifting her finger up to stop interuptions.
"I haven't finished!" she said maintaining control a moment longer. "So how is putting other super heroes in danger going to make the world a better place? your delusional if you believe that this act will make anything better...Ben, I am thinking abut everyone's safety in the long run, and Reed being himself just gave me an added reason to leave..." she said and lowered her hands down a little more
"Remember what you once said to me when we first developed our abilities?..you said 'Sue you dont know what I wouldn't give to be invisible'. At the moment not having this act is like invisibility..."

Things face was littered with disappointment. he stood like a looming shadow over the brother and sister.
"Sue that's a load a crap. you say sure Reed is a reason. Reed shouldn;t be a reason for a decision like this. And putin us in danger. S'cuse me Susie, but I'd say fightin the likes of galactus and the skrulls falls under dangerous. Livin this life is dangerous. Ain't nothin' safe about doing this." Things fist balls up into circular rock as he looks aay from the two.
"I'm not sure you two get it. Those people out there. The ones we're supposed to be protecting-they hate us right now. Hate us. They don't like what we stand for anymore. Cause what we stand for are hundreds of dead kids and parents.
He turns his attention to Johny.
"And Johny, don't tell me to move. Your family kid-but don't tell me what to do. I can't stop ya's from leaving. But Sue, you need to talk to Reed. He's your husband."

"Don't do this Johny. They're gonna hunt you down. We're the fantastic Four-we gotta stick together on this."
