'Hey bub,' Wolverine pointed to Iron man 'you threatening me Tin can? I'll rip you open and reveal your yella belly!'
Wolverine began to walk forward, struting, evaluating the situation. He was a fighter and threats just made him more eger to start this fight...to start this war.

Wolverine, pushed his adamantium claws right up against the metal helmet of Iron Man.
'Hey bub, just think about this...your suit, its a coffin, perfectly modeled on your body. An iron grave!'
Logans eyes opened wider, his nostrals flared, his sensed were alive, he was ready for the outcome of his previous statement.

"Logan. You...you want a war. You hear that, Spider-man? He wants a war. He's threatening me."
The talk was but a distraction, as Iron Man brought his hand up to Logan's chest.
"Logan, I don't want a war. But if needs be..."
And then, from Iron Man's palm, a repulor beam struck Logan full in the chest, knocking him into the opposite wall.
"I know how to fight."

Logan watched as his chest slowly healed, the skin molding back into place.
'So do I bub!'
Logan jumped up and brushed off the molten remains of his shirt, Logan charged at Iron man, leaping off the ground and pounced claws drawn.
'Register these Stark' Logan drove his claws at the head of iron man, his legs trailing behind him. The war had begun, sides drawn and friends lost. It had happened before but now a team that was intended to save the world, protect it...would be divided, disassembled.

Tony followed Wolverine's leap, and dodged to the side, bringing his fist up. The upper cut made hard contact with Wolverine's abs, as he was sent sprawling once more.
"I'm not going to attack you, Logan. I'm just going to defend myself..."

'Defend, why the hell won't you attack me you drunken letch...' Wolverine again stood, uninjured by Starks attcks '...Cos i'd could be here all day'
Wolveine spat some blood on the floor before facing Iron man again.
'Go on, hit me HIT ME!, bub' Wolverine wondered how long this would go on before it would esculate, it could be a bad idea taking this fight, this personal war onto the streets.

"Stop it!" Peter cried, and one hand sprung out to wire a strand of webbing at thw two. Before that could happen, however, Jessica had hurled herself into the fray. Her hands were pulsing with energy and she gestured, allowing a blast to lance outwards from each hand at both Wolverine and Iron Man.
It was only a warning shot, but it would send her message.
"Stop it. Now."

At some point, she met Luke Cage, they started to like each other, then love each other, then she got pregant with his baby, and soon after, they loved each other even more, and eventually, they got married in the 1st New Avengers Annual. OOC: Spider-Woman is Jessica DREW. Cage loves Jessica JONES. I made the same mistake too at first  IC: Cap stood motionless, his face betraying nothing. He just continued to look back and forth, knowing he should intervene in the chaos before his eyes but feeling frozen, unable to act. The longer the argument went on, the more he knew that these were not the New Avengers he had known. They were perfectly willing to see their civil liberties trodden on. He closed his eyes as Logan attacked, already knowing, dreading, what he would have to do. He had told Stephen Strange that he had come here to end the war before it began- and he meant that. But now, with the other Avengers refusing to listen to reason, he could see only one way this could be stopped. And so, praying that God... and his former friends... would forgive him... He hurled his shield to strike Tony in the chest. And his face betraying nothing, he charged. And then the New Avengers were at war. This thread now splits off into the following three threads:
DISASSEMBLED: Spider-Man Versus Power Man
DISASSEMBLED: Captain America Versus Wolverine
DISASSEMBLED: The Sentry Versus Wolverine
