Mystique had been watching this little meeting from the shadows in total disgust. She had known this little war was going to happen for a while now, and hoped that she wouldn't have to get to deeply involved. Once the Silver Suffer had made his appearance and left Mystique came from out of the shadows, but in the form of a little girl. The girl had black hair that was tied in a pony-tail and a little blue dress on. Her body was covered with horrible burns, and apart of her face was missing. It was a girl that had been shown on T.V. many times since the Stamford incident. The girl had died in the explosion and her innocent face was part of the reason why the Warriors were so hated. "Tell me mister, why did I have to die," she said to Hawkeye with a little smile. "Can you tell me why", she said looking at the others. "Was I a bad girl? Is that why you killed me?" She said as tears started to roll down her face. Mystique then took a step back and pulled out two guns. She pointed the guns at the hero's and her eyes began to glow their normal yellow color.
"How dare you come here," Mystique said with a voice full of rage as she morphed into her true form. She then gave Bishop a look as to say that she wasn't happy with this. "Mutants are at their weakest point, we are kept prisoner by those killing machines, and you dare to come here with your war." It was clear that Mystique wasn't happy, and she kept her guns pointed as she spoke. "No one gave a damn when Mutants were being forced to register, so why should we risk bringing more trouble to ourselves, and our existence for you. You and your group of renegade hero's were never there for us, so why should we help you."

Johnny was obviously getting madder by the minute, as he burst in flams without even trying.
"Last time I checked you didn't speak for all mutants. And unless you're actually going to shoot one of us, then put the guns away. You just look silly."
He looked into Mystique's eyes and they were completely blank.

This boy obviously didn't know Mystique very well. She loaded her guns and got ready to shoot, but Mystique looked at Bishop and figured that killing one of them wouldn't exactly put her in good graces with the rest of the X-men. She had only just joined the team, and wasn't ready to get kicked off just yet. Mystique slowly unloaded her guns and put them away, resisting the urge the to blow the boys brains all over the mansion walls.
"Fine, then let us see with the rest of the mutants in the world think, but you know nothing about mutants or what we stand for. I've been fighting mutant prejudice since before you were even thought of, and nothing has changed. Mutants are feared and hated because of our natural gifts, but you are praised and worshiped for yours. Why should we be hated because our powers weren't grown in a lab or caused by some freak accident. If you ask me you are the ones who are the freaks of nature, and maybe you shouldn't be allowed to roam around with abilities you aren't able to control." Mystique said. She wasn't sure what the others would say, but Mystique knew where she stood. The world was no longer full of mutants like before. This was now a fight for survival, and if Mystique was anything she was a survivor.

"How dare you preach to anyone, you vile trash. You killed without mercy, you tortured, you are nothing but a crinimal who has been given a second chance. I know all about you mysteque. You can't talk at all about being rightoues and what is just and fair. You have a disgust for humans and I see it in your heart. I'm human 100% no cosmic powers, no talents given from birth. Strike me down and prove to me that you are the criminal that I all say you are." Clint Barton had never been so angry. He felt nothing but contempt for this woman. "You are a fool if you think registering will help you. You talk about the mutant registration act. Whats the difference between it and this one? This is the same war you fought but, now you embrace it." All Clint knew was if this woman were to lay a finger on any of his friends and teamates he would do what he would have to. The situation had escelated quickly and his outburst hadn't helped but Hawkeye didn't care. This was the tip of the iceberg, he would face more horrible things than this in this coming war, and he doubts this is the last time they would tangle with mystique. "Bishop can we go now?"

Mystique was angry enough about flame head insulting her, but when a mere human talked down to her as if he were better, Mystique could have exploded with rage. She had heard rumors of this man being dead and wondered how he was alive. Things were getting heated and Mystique could feel the tension building between them. "You are right. I have killed without mercy, tortured, and so much more but I did what I had to do in order to survive and this time is no different."
"I will not deny that I hate humans, because I do. Since birth they have hated me and I was left with no choice but to learn how to survive. You don't wake up everyday in a world that exist only to destroy you, but I do. You know nothing about me or what I've been through, and don't even think for a second that the stories you have heard or those files you have on me even come close to the real thing." Mystique said while looking Clint right into his eyes. When he told her to strike him down, every part of her wanted to just put a bullet in his heart and just walk away, but she resisted not wanting to prove him right.
"You call me a common criminal, but if you resist the act, what do you think you will become." She said with a look of satisfaction on her face. "The difference about this registration act is that mutants aren't the only ones on the chopping block this time. We are few in numbers and don't have the power to fight both our war and yours. If we support the act then we will be secure enough to know that the government will keep us around to hunt down 'criminals' like you. Our power will rise again, but until then we must think of our survival first and your war second."

"You fool, you aren't safe. Once you register, you'll be a marked. Those people you have hurt, or there friends and family can get ahold of that info it will be terrible for you. Would you be able to comfortably sleep at night knowing your never safe." Clint posed this question. His heart was fully into trying to show mystique the error of her desicion. "I've been on the other side of the law but, you..you enjoyed it. You are the kind of person that would sick pleasure out of how they treated others. We superheroes fight to protect. Not just humans, but mutants also. Don't think if you didn't ask Captain America would be here in a second to help you if the sentinals attacked or anyone of us" He waved a hand around to those assembled. "Such hate for people you have never met or who have done anything to you, is sicking." Clint truly did feel ill talking to a person consumed by hate. "How can you call yourself an X-man you don't stand for anything they do." Clint hoped his words stung, he hoped they got the message across. "We have come here to ask for help and those that will help us we are grateful to. They share the same goal as us, and they undestand the damage this act will cause." Clint had never poured his soul out like this. He has never really let his emotions get the better of him like this and breakdown his cool, collected, confident gaurd down.

Bishop had remained quite during the exchange of words between Hawkeye, Storm and Raven. He can only imagine what the team of former avengers must be thinking seeing mystique pull a gun out them just moments after he had. perhaps so much for the non-violent sentiment the X-Men were supposed t embody.
"This isn't the place for this conversation. There are still students around this school." Bishop turns his attention to Msytique. She had made some valid points. but then if both sides didn't hold any validity, the brewing war wouldn't be a fear.
"Lets just cool out jets until we get down to the war room."

Mystique could only laugh at Clint. He really didn't know who he was talking to or anything about Mystique. "You just don't get it do you. I've been marked since the day I was born, and I haven't been able to sleep comfortable at night since the day I realized that I was different," she said. Clint said that Mystique like doing the things she has done, but he couldn't be more wrong. Mystique didn't like having to lie all the time or having her two children hate her. They meant so much to her, but she had to treat the way she did in order to make them strong.
"I can call myself an X-man because we have one major thing in common, and that's the safety of mutants. My methods may not be squeaky clean, but the result I get through my skills are just as good if not better." Mystique knew that none of the other X-men would help defend her, and that half of them didn't even want her here but she was her and not going anywhere.
"Why do you care so much about this act when you said yourself that you really aren't a super powered hero." Mystique really didn't understand this man. He could have just walked away from all of this, yet he chose to stay and fight. He had no real powers and would be going against people who had the power to destroy cities. Mystique wondered why he call her the fool when he was clearly out of his league.
"The damage this act will caused is nothing compared to the damage caused by you and the rest of your so called hero friends. The Stamford incident has made life more dangerous for mutants, and you being here is making things no better. If you truly are the hero's you claim to be then leave her and don't involve us in your war."
Bishop had a point. This wasn't the place for this discussion and she didn't think anyone else should be involved until they had come to a clear decision.

"I may not have superpowers and I will risk my life for a cause I truly beleive in. I can't stand the thought of my friends or anyone for that matter being screwed over like this. I'm trying to the best of my abilties to help no matter how outmatched I will be in battle. This is the same position you were in with the mutant registration act but it wasn't PASSED. It never became law, We are going to be hunted down like dogs and thrown in jail or killed. For protecting everyone, mutants and humans alike. Don't you see that I'm not your enemy. I wouldn't want to see you inprisoned for being a mutant but, Its fine for me to be locked up because I protect people. You are a hypoctit mystique." Clint looked her in her eyes and tried to look for some sign of compassion or sign of understanding but he couldn't tell with this woman. "You think by not involving the x men you are safer. You are misguided. The x men like it or not are superheros in the eyes of mutants and humans alike, so if you mystique are a X man then you are a superhero."
Hawkeye turned to look at Bishop for the first time in a while. In truth in his rage he had forgotten he was there. "Your right, and beside if I have any more outburst like that people won't realize how happy go lucky I am" he said with a smirk. He hoped this would ease the tensions a little more. He had come here on behalf of the Resistance. He also remebered the arguement he had with Doc Strange about leadership earlier and if this was the way he acted he should have kept his mouth closed. "Torch calm down, we need to try and be civil. Moon Knight can you make sure noone else is hiding in the shadows ready to pull a damn gun on us?"

Johnny let the fire go out. He never wanted to engulf someone in his heat so much then he did just then. Not only did she say that we shouldn't be worried about the act, but had the guts to say we were making things worse. He stared at her as he turned to Clint.
"Fine. Just don't preach love to her. The only person she ever loved ended up worse then the rest of us. She couldn't care less about the mutants affected by the Act."

"Just a note Mystique, the X-Men aren't about making this world safer for mutants. We never have. This school was meant to help studnets understand this world and there powers. And the X-Men were meant to stand as a bridge between humans and mutants. And we don't just save our own kind. "
Bishop too had known th hate Mystique had. She was raised in a world that came to hate and fear her. Bishop was born into that world. He'd seen what happens when the government takes total control of something. They hunt down those who don't agree, or don't follow. Or they brand them as anti-american, and let society disenfranchise them.
"We're all just trying to make this world better-for mutants and humans."

This man was a bigger fool then Mystique first thought. Sure, his ideals sounded heroic and grand but once he was dead then what good what he be to anyone. His so called friends would move on to greatness while he was six feet under. "You really have no clue what you are talking about do you. The only reason why the mutant registration act was not passed is because I did what was needed to be done in order to stop it. Not the X-men, not the Avengers, just me. I'm sure you what claim that my methods were vile and villainous but they got the job done." Mystique was of course referring to the assassination of her son Greydon Creed, but no one else knew this. The boy was just a mere human but it was still hard for her to do what she had to do.
When Clint called Mystique a superhero, she was a little confused on how to react. She was now apart of the X-men and they did do good, so technically she was a hero. "Being the 'SUPERHERO' I am then I guess the least I could do was hear you out." Mystique said while brushing past Clint and continuing to the War Room. "Lets get this meeting started already."

Johnny waited until he saw Mystique come up near him.
"Ladies first."
Honestly it wasn't the fact that she was a women. Sue was still behind, and had remained quiet during the confrontation. The truth was he wanted to keep an eye on her.
