Mutation/Powers:
Super Strength: Due to mutant genes, his skin, bones and muscles are unusually thick, allowing him to lift 80 tons under optimal conditions.
Invulnerability: Due to mutant genes, his skin, bones and muscles are unusually thick, making it harder to cause him injuries also makes him puncture-proof to most edge- weapons and ammunition. Man-made alloys such as Adamantium and Vibranium are a different story.
Ice Breath: Has the mutant ability to internally cause moisture in the atmosphere to chill to freezing temperatures upon exhalation. This makes his core temperature much lower than most humans, makes him feel cool to the touch. This combined with his body’s mutant thickness allows him to survive in harsh heat and chilling cold.
On occasion when in emotional distress, His mutation will become greater, allowing his powers to become much greater. He will then lose control of himself and become a threat to anyone around him. He is still very much beatable.
Weapons & Equipment:
Luchador mask: A mask that covers the entire head. Special designs on mask to identify him as El Jefe. It is crafted from special material and fibers in order to keep Telepaths from entering his mind.
Sombrero Glider/Shield: A glider that works with an anti-gravity propulsion system. In the shape of a sombrero, he carries it whenever he is in costume. It was crafted from Vibranium, so it is also very durable, so he uses it as a shield too.
History/Background:
Efren led the normal life a 13 year old kid would, school, girl trouble...etc. That is until one day. He was walking down the street when he saw his hero, El Rey fighting crime. El Rey was doing well until a strong mutant knocked him down and put a car on top of him. While the criminals got away, he tried helping his hero flip the car off of him. But, El Rey had no actual mutant abilities, so all looked grim. Efren’s hidden mutant potential activated and he was able to lift the car off of him. El Rey was so impressed by the boy, he took him under his wing. El Rey trained Efren in un-armed combat and trained his mutant abilities after school. Efren grew into the perfect side-kick and quite the formidable fighter/mutant. This went on for 4 years, until he was made a full partner and defended Los Angels with El Rey. Efren went on to graduate high school and went to school to learn the real-estate game. He fought evil when he had the time and tried to eventually became an agent.
One day while relaxing at his home with his family, he saw the event happen live on television...an event that would cause a rift in the world. He didn’t know what to do but weeks he heard rumors and reports of a super hero registration act. He called for a meeting with his mentor El Rey. They met but it wasn’t a pleasant visit for very long. They quickly got into an argument over which side was right and it soon turned to blows. Efren felt that people with powers should be held accountable for what they do, so no many innocents souls would never be lost again. His mentor argued that this would impose on people’s rights and freedoms. So Efren left quickly and made his way for N.Y. were a lot of heroes were, he wanted to make this law is passed by any means necessary.
Personality: Efren is nice, caring, charming, warm and friendly, loving, and compassionate. Due to his training with his hero, he is really confident and self-assured almost to the point of cockiness. He was born on April Fool’s Day, which might be the reason for his constant kidding, sarcasm, joking and wisecracks. Has a strong sense of justice, loyalty and truth...which could cause a problem sometimes. He is more of a follower than a leader but is willing to step up if necessary.

He saw the shield coming toward him at full speed but he still couldn’t believe it. He had heard legends, see him in the news but he still couldn’t believe it...*Captain America!* He thought to himself. He was actually in battle against the symbol of everything righteous and pure about America. Captain America had fought for this country since before his father was even born and has on more than one occasion saved it from total destruction. He quickly snapped out of his star-stricken haze and blocked it with his own shield. Captain America’s famous shield was on the ground by his feet, he quickly bent over and retrieved it. The Capt was quickly coming towards him, he simply stood there and waited for his attack, planning on doing something flashy or showy...wanting to make an impression with this living legend. Capt let loose with a roundhouse kick to the stomach, which he block with the man’s own shield but Capt quickly countered with a spinning back fist and sweep kick. He quickly found himself on the ground, minus Capt’s shield. Capt was standing there, looking at him, “Good work, kid...but flash doesn’t beat practicality...” Captain America quickly swiped the shield in front of his face, knocking his foe out.
