For the first time in quite a while, Steve Rogers exited the basement and strode into the wide Main Hall of the Anti-Registration Headquarters, a grim look on his face. He HAD it. He knew he had it. It had taken him a while, his team had been up to all sorts of things, but he had it.
He knew how to win this war.
And yet he still felt terrible.
Reed Richards
Ben Grimm
Carol Denvers
Jessica Drew
Peter Parker
Hank Pym
.... Tony Stark
He had spent days working, bringing to bear all his knowledge of tactics and strategy, being disturbed only to hear of the team's new recruits, to eat, and to hear of major updates. He had slept very little. But he had it. He had worked out, in detail, the weaknesses of the major pro-registration heroes, he had plotted out dozens of times the distribution of his team, he had worked out how to face them in any possible combination, and he thought maybe, just maybe, they had a shot at winning the inevitable war.
Clearing his throat, he went to the main console, entered the security key, and then pressed a button which would broadcast his voice across the whole base.
"Aven..." He caught himself at the last moment.
"Anti-Registrationers.... ASSEMBLE!"
It didn't have quite the same ring to it, he thought. He waited for the others to gather, already planning in his head, already knowing what they had to do, the step they had to take. They had to make the first move. They had to try to end this before it could begin.
It was time for battle.

Emma Walked in Slowly, she stop and looked at Captain America
"So what is going on" she said
She wasn't happy and would take it out on whatever got in her way, you tell all of that my the look in her eyes

Johnny heard the announcement from his 'room'. The Captain was finally done with what he was doing. It had taken a while, but he was finally done. He ran to the meeting room and saw Emma and the Captain there.

Clint had just gotten back when he heard the anouncement. "Cap!" Clint thought to himself is he back from what he has been doing. Hawkeye strode into the main room of the resistance HQ and saw Steve Rogers standing there facing Johny Storm and a little to Hawkeyes suprise Emma Frost. "Steve we need to talk, I have some information that is pretty vital." Clint said solemnly. Cap had a look on his face of complete seriousness he seemed more drained then the last time he had seen him.

"It has to do with the Thunderbolts...and Reed. We found it at Zemo's."
He felt bad betraying Reed, but like he's told himself time and time since going underground, it had to be done.

"There is something else. I didn't reveal it to anyone. not even Johny." Clint felt bad but he couldn't let the kid know intime. Something else he found on Zemo's computer something he didn't even think Zemo understood.

Johnny's head snapped to Clint. He was hiding something from him. From all of them. He thought he could tell something was up.
"What're you hiding? Does it have to do with me? You have to tell us. We're a team," Johnny was particularly upset that Clint didn't tell him the secret.

Cap looked between Johnny and Clint for a moment, deep in thought. He also spared a nod for Emma, grateful for her assistance- most of the X-Men were just staying in their Mansion but Emma had agreed to help them out.
After a minute, Cap spoke- he didn't trust Zemo one bit anyway. "We're a team, people." he said. "More even than the Avengers did, we need to stick together like glue- because unlike the Avengers, we slip up for a moment and the government is down on us. We don't have any allies to run to, all we have are enemies, enemies and people who are indifferent." he spread his hands. "We start keeping information from each other... we split up.... then we're never going to survive. Clint, if you have something to say... I trust everyone present enough for you to say it here." He met his gaze levelly.

"What's the big news?" Johnny asked, cutting through the silence. He had a feeling it was huge, if it was big enough that Clint didn't share.

Now Emma didn't have to even ask she just opened up and when inside Clints head to see what he really was hiding, she was doing into his head to find information but never tell anyone unless he did first

As usual Logan came to late. He walked in yet stayed in the doorway. He leaned against the post and looked around. Then at Captain America. He then pushed himself off the doorframe and walked on inside.

"No I kept it from you at Zemo's because I didn't trust him with the info not you Johny." Firstly the pro reg has a database of everyhero there is. As much info on us as they can already have. Most of us are wanted DEAD or alive. Some just dead. Some just alive. We also found out something on this 42 thing. From what Zemo told us, its like a superhero prison but thats all we know about it. Stark won't let many people near it apperntly. Lastly what I found was a list of villians that had decieded to bring us in. I mean these are some of the most vile people on earth and Tony is aligning himself with them. I don't know what to think but my money is on Stark them over and bringing us in with them." Clint had relayed everything he had been told by the Thunderbolts and what he had found on the Baron's pc

Emma now got up from where she was and walk to the center
"We need to do something about this, we can't just sit around and wait to be captured or killed we need to act out and show who they are messing with" she said loudly

Johnny nodded and pointed to Emma.
"I like the way she thinks. That's exactly what I think we should do. We need to do something so we're not just sitting ducks for someone that dangerous just to pick us off and take us all out."

Cap looked up and around at the other heroes. "If what you're saying is true Hawkeye- and I have no doubt it is- we need to take action." He paused, pursing his lip. "I refuse to believe that there is no other way- not yet."
He paused for another moment and then spoke again. "I'm going to speak to Tony." he said with finality. "I have been a New Avenger since it's inception, and I believe I can help persuade the team to head this off. And if I can't..." he paused. "Well, there's a chance some of the others will help us. I let one generation of Avengers die, I can't stand by as a second one dissolves."
He stepped back, waiting for the inevitable tide of objections and protests.
