Captain America stood looking out over a balcony at the packed out hall below. He had never seen so many heroes gathered in one place, not even in past gatherings. The Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the Thunderbolts, Doctor Strange, the Defenders.... countless groups, almost every super-hero in the world, even those who would not normally be invited. Cap had even gone so far as to invite the creature Venom; he was twisted and disturbed but he still saw himself as doing his own brand of justice. And besides, he had a feeling Venom would oppose the Act as much as himself.
He saw Iron Man. He was standing amongst a crowd of others, talking to them. This would not be a co-ordinated and organized meeting. This would be a disorganized chaos of people finding out other people's views and then reaching a consensus. Cap clenched his red gloved fist. They HAD to agree with him. This was not so much about the disaster as it was about the Registration Act. Surely they could see it was madness?
Taking a deep breath, he descended the stairs.

Felicia was mingling in the roaring crowd when Captain America came down the staircaise. Many flocked over to him but Felicia simply eyed him suspiciously, he didn't share her views and they probably wouldn't get along too well anymore. "Captain." She muttered nodding her head at him. She ventured further into the crowd, trying to find someone at least barely interesting to talk to.

Spider was sitting on a wall, looking at the chaos before him, he did not feel like any discussions at the moment, though he knew that he had no choice but to, he would be dragged into the confrontation sooner or later, though he had no idea how he felt about the Act.

Moon Knight stared out at the growing crowd of people. He saw Spiderman sitting silently against the wall and walked over to him. "Talking up a storm as usual Spider. Why so out of character?"

"It has been a long day."Spider simply said to the unknown man, he was curious about what Tony and Steve would have to say, and hoped it would start soon.

He was standing there, almost unnoticable in a corner, carefully inspecting the heroes, he was there, why?
Because he was a superhuman, though he didn't share the views of the people there, but he was there because he knew that someone would come to him to enlist his services in this was that was to come.
Now he was simply watching and waiting for someone to come.

Sentry had taken a seat available in the room ,he did not feel in his place, he was just shortly an Avenger, and he had little trust in his own capabilities, yet he had no choice as he was gonna get dragged into this sooner or later.
He already made up his mind, it was for the greater good if he and all other heroes could be held responsible for their actions, he didn't know when but someday he would not be able to contain the evil inside of him.
He only wished someone would be able to stop him when it get's that far, but that was also the biggest problem, who would be able to stop someone as powerfull as he.

Taskmaster sat atop a nearby building. He was watching the meeting, and getting bored. He thought to himself, Maybe I should just smash in there, cause a stir. Wait! Thats a terrible idea! Come to your senses Tasks! There are too many heroes to jump in there. I'd get killed pretty quick. Im a criminal, and there must be a hundred super-heroes in there, all of which have a reason to kill me. He would need to confront either Iron Man or Captain America when there werent so many other super-heroes around, and ask them if they were interested in hiring him.

Cap picked his way through the crowds when Evo approached him. "Hey, how do you think this will turn out?" Cap seemed to consider for a moment. "I don't know." he confessed. "But we'll all be able to share our viewpoints in a minute."
He was afraid that the Stamford disaster might have made more heroes Pro-Registration. He was concerned that this would come to a fight. And he was afraid that he wouldn't have the stomach to do what was necessary. He looked around to see if the X-Men were here. Their support would be vital.
NOTE: IF ANYONE WANTS TO CHANGE SIDES, NOW IS THE TIME. YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE.

The door opened. Logan walked in. His shirt was torn and some wounds healing. He had his gloves still on. He walked by the ones who where there and walked over to the back. He took his place in the back against the wall. He leaned against it and looked around. He knew which side the X-men would pick, one of the reasons why he wasn't with them anymore. He saw Captain America but didn't walk over to him. He just remained on his spot. He had his personall problems now besides this one.

Cap gestured at Iron Man to go first, the two of them staring emotionlessly at one another. Iron Man headed for the podium, no doubt to make a stirring speech. Cap folded his arms, looking around at his comrades.
The Lower Floors of Stark Tower....
They ran stealthily through Stark Tower, four squads of Elite SHIELD operatives under the command of the new SHIELD leader, Commander Hill. Anyone who saw them got tranquilized instantly. This was for the super-hero's own good.
The Super Heroes might agree to registration themselves. But if they did not... well, it was in the interests of the United States to stop them seceding. No matter what the cost. Above the tower, helicopters drifted towards the tower.
Waiting for the signal. [/i]

Oh shit Frank thought as he saw the SHIELD operatives that stood in the lower floor of Stark Towers, Frank was a wanted man, a killer, he could not be caught. Covering the weapons he was carrying and the clothes he was wearing he slowly made his way into the building. Frank wasn’t scared, no he was worried, his mission couldn’t end here he had to get to the meeting, he had to make his point heard. They were not interested in Frank though, they had bigger fish to fry, and they like Frank had business only with the superheroes. They let him past; they didn’t even look at him, a Homo- sapien in a building full of freaks. They had given him an escape plan though if thing went wrong, helicopters and SHIELD agents made Franks life easier. Well, relatively. Frank strode into the meeting, arrogantly, his little surprise primed and ready to explode. He could smell the death, pungent yet fragrant its smell pure and refreshing in a world full of bull shit and deception. Franks eyes were drawn immediately to Captain America and Iron Man, they were the ultimate prize, they were the ultimate trophy. Frank would listen first, listen and then destroy the world they lived in, it would start with the Daily Bugle and then wherever they go he would hunt them and now was his moment to tell them, tell them all of his final plan, his final mission. One man’s terrorist is another man’s Freedom Fighter

Iron Man ascended the steps and positioned himself atop the podium. He placed his hands on either side of the stand and leaned in to the microphone. Inhaling deeply, he began his improvised speech, his heart hammering inside his chest.
"Ladies and gentlemen, honourable heroes," he greeted warmly, "as you know, this is not a social gathering that we attend today. This is a solemn occasion that calls for your utmost attention...and decisiveness. This is a topic that doesn't have a fence to sit on. You're either on one side, or the other."
At least that part was over.
"When I realised I was going to have to give a speech today, I realised that I would have to open with an introduction. Strangely enough, that was what I found hardest to incorporate," he continued. "Then it struck me that there was no need for a small intro...why not make the entire speech one? I'm not here to dazzle you all with a magnificent talk...I'm here to make a difference. That was why I was born, and all of you, for that matter."
He paused, resisting the urge to crush the table in order to release the anxiety that pumped through his veins.
"Every single one of us here wants to help the innocents, and do what's best for the greater good. Unfortunately, some of us oncentrate on the few rather than the many. That can all change now. Make a stand, and make a bigger difference than you could ever hope to achieve now. Be a true hero. Do what's best for the world."
Iron Man leaned back a little.
"Support the Superhero Registration Act, and stop disasters like Stamford before they happen."
The Avengers nodded brusquely to Captain America after a momentary pause, allowing his words to sink in before descending the stairs effortlessly, gripping Steve's arm lightly as he sauntered past him. Did that go well, or...?
