"Hello?" shouted Hank Pym, his voice echoing around inside the floor of the Stark Tower. "Is anyone here?" he scratched his head slightly. Henry Pym was the super-hero Yellowjacket (and also Giant-Man, Ant-Man and numerous other aliases) and he was here to meet with Tony Stark. Incidentally, he was also- along with Stark, Reed Richards, Victor Von Doom and Hank McCoy, considered one of the five smartest men on Earth.
"God, this place took a beating." he said to himself, looking around. The main foyer was fairly gutted from the pitched battle here a few days ago. He had been present then, of course, but had not realised the extent of the damage. He wondered if the New Avengers were home- he had to see Tony...

Jessica Drew regarded Ant-Man, or Giant-Boy or whatever Pym was calling himself this week for a moment before speaking. "Pym," she said stepping out of the shadows like a vampire in an old black and white movie, "I'm glad to see you here, I was starting to think everyone in tights had gone underground. Ironic given that not even a year after I get out of tights and SHIELD we're going right back in."
She smiled, slinking towards him, "Have you seen Iron Man, or any of the others?"

Henry stiffened and gave a slightly reserved nod. "Spider-Woman." he said stiffly. He couldn't remember her real name. Actually, he couldn't remember if he had EVER known her real name! "I was hoping you could tell me. I'm supposed to have a meeting with Tony and Reed."
He eyed her slightly suspiciously. That she was here implied she was, like Henry himself, still in favour of Registration. But with Cap, one of Henry's oldest friends, going AWOL, he wasn't sure who he could trust these days. Best to say as little as possible. "I didn't see you at the meeting a few days ago."

"The meeting at the one here?" Drew asked, "Or was there another one? I wasn't at this meeting. I've been trying to stay to one side. That appears to be impossible however, since everyone seems content to draw a line in the sand now."
She tilted her head, she could tell he was suspicious, but did not particularly feel a need to win him over. If anything she was happy to have him suspect her of something. As long as she won Tony's trust she would be okay here.
"All those big brains in one place," she said teasingly, "Do you ever just get the desire to measure and see who is bigger? I'm sure Iron Man will be here shortly, as for Mr. Fantastic I don't know. I haven't seen him since the other day."

"This is serious, Spider-Woman." Said Henry, ignoring her joke. "We draw a line because there have to be limits. Heroes can't run around disobeying the law." He scowled slightly. "And I'm telling you, you'll have to choose your side. It's them or us. There's no middle ground."
Realising that he had sounded very harsh, he relented slightly. "Well, maybe I put it across badly. But either you register or you don't. And if you don't..." he paused. "Then I guess there'll be a spot open for me on the New Avengers." He tried to make a joke, but it rung hollow after his virtual threat.

Mimic pushed open the door and was surprised to see spiderwoman and yellow jacket, he was expecting Iron man in order to get some help for his New Warriors mission or even help out on anything they had going on.
"Pym, see your using yellow jacket again, thought some girl used it for a bit?" "And Jess, how on earth did you put up with Hill when you were with SHEILD she is a major pain."
"So wheres Iron Man Hill and Cooper assured me he'd meet me here on kind of a deadline"

Yellowjacket turned to see Mimic in the doorway. "Hello, Calvin." he said to Mimic. He looked around at Spider-Woman, mentally noting the name Jess, then turned back. "We're not sure where Tony is. I'm supposed to be meeting with him and Reed right now as a matter of fact."
He didn't bother acknowledging about the girl who had been Yellowjacket. That was far too long a story for right now, and he absoloutely HAD to see Tony. He almost unconsciously fingered a disc in his pocket. The disc was in a case, had about 40 levels of security built into it, and was marked with a single encryption on the outside.
"42"

Mimic made himself comfortable in the first chair he could find, he had spotted hanks reaction when he called spider woman by her first name, he found it odd that as a fellow Avenger he didnt know her, but there were so many members and honourary ones who coulod keep track?
"So Pym, what you waiting to see Iron man about? take it that its to do with the disc in your pocket, psychic powers mate what you going to do? dont worry i wont pry to find out what its all about after all we are on the same side, Right?"
Mimic hadnt meant to use his powers like that but Hank's mind was almost screaming the disc was obviously something big.
"So anyway they got you doing any hunting yet? SHEILD has a massive list of names but no real names they really want this act to work!"

Jessica Drew didn't know who this fellow was, though obviously Ant-Man did and for some reason he knew her name. Her identity had not been secret for awhile, at least not since she had openly begun to work for SHIELD, so that was not surprising but the mention of a disk was. She hadn't noticed it in Pym's pocket.
"Not everyone trusts everyone here," Jessica said, "and besides a week ago none of us thought we'd be on the opposite side as Captain America."
Except her. She had always had been prepared for some confrontation with the Captain ever since she had begun to work as a double agent for Hydra and the Avengers. Unless Captain America or Tony Stark had told either of these two that though neither Calvin nor Pym knew of her nebulous status however. And though the blonde haired mutant had mentioned having telepathic powers Drew had spent years in Hydra training to learn how to shield her mind, which was needed as a double agent within SHIELD.

Mimic wondered what spider woman was thinking, he tried reading her mind but all he got was static ' psychic training eh, crafty' he thought to himself.
"Well 'Spider woman', you should see the mess he left on the SHIELD hellicarrier Agent Hill is not a happy girl." Mimic shifted in his chair "don't you guys have anything to drink here, i swear to god its like prohibition never ended on that hellicarrier."
Although he had never met spider-woman before he was impressed in so many ways, her SHIELD computer file doesn't really do her any justice. Mimic thumbed through the file he had with him; he hoped Iron man could help find Firestar because otherwise he would have to involve Scott and the xmen.

"Sorry I'm late," Tony interjected, ascending the stairs to greet the trio in his armour. Gently removing his helmet, he cast a knowing glance to Henry Pym, one of his strongest supporters when it came to the Registration Act. "Hank, I'm glad you're here. Calvin. Jess."
He nodded at each of them in turn, before gripping Pym's shoulder and motioning to his office. The ''war'' that had been prodded and poked at for so long had finally exploded, although the businessman had a secret fear that the worst was yet to come. He did regret standing by whilst the SHIELD agents had launched their assault on Cap...he should have assisted them, enforced his support of the Act.
Now, the former hero was underground, possibly forming some kind of resistance. The mere thoguht of a rebellion from former friends sent anxiety pulsing through Tony's veins, but he pushed the feeling aside and strode towards his office. If Pym had the disc, then they would be needing all the privacy they could get. He had only the barest knowledge of 42, but he did know that it could turn the tide of the fast-growing war.
"Will Calvin and Jess be joining us?" he enquired politely.

Carol knew that Tony was a very busy man these days, but she had to talk to him. She was in the middle of a patrol when she heard the news, and needed to know if the rumors were true about Cap. Had he really gone AWOL, and broke the law. Cap was one of the few hero's Carol thought she could count on to up hold the law. He stood for American justice, so she believed that there was no way he could have done this. Carol knew that Captain America didn't agree with the Registration act, but she was sure that once it was made a law that he would follow it.
Carol wasn't even sure if Tony was here, but she had to try anyway. "Hello, is anyone here?" Carol asked as she slowly opened the door and peaked inside. Once the door was fully open Carol could see that Tony was inside along with Spider Woman, Ant-man, and Mimic. "Hello everyone." Carol said as she gave each one of them a nod. They seemed like they were in the middle of something and Carol didn't want the interrupt. "I can come back later it you were in the middle of something," Carol said to Tony.

"As a matter of fact we were." said Hank, somewhat more brutally than he had to. He had never been as restrained as the others, and right now he really needed to talk to Tony.
"Carol... Jess..." he thought of the other name he had heard. "...Calvin. I just need a few minutes of Tony's time." He had already mead a mental note to get some sort of thought-protection. If that guy Mimic looked into his head and prised out info on '42'..... It could be very dangerous for all concerned.
He turned to Tony. "We really need to get... the project.... underway." he said meaningfully. "Reed and I have been working on some details... is he coming?"

Mimic noticed Yellowjacket's abruptness with Ms Marvel he looked towards Spiderwoman to see if she had also noticed. What ever was on that disk was obviously very imortant, mimic pondered getting the info from yellowjacket's mind but decided against it; if SHIELD hadnt told him and he was hunting heroes for them then it was too big a deal.
"Ms Marvel you could help me i suppose i'm after information about Firestars location and was wondering if you knew anything?" Mimic was slightly in awe of Carol he had seen her work through some issues in the past and that outfit also made an impression.
"SHIELD have asked me to find the remaining Warriors and bring them into protective custody; i was doing well until i got to Firestar."
